I have been searching for 5 years. My Great-great-Grandmother was Ann/Mary McMaster born in 1839. She came into USA in 1859 married in 1862 to Edward Egan in Amboy,IL Lee Co., IL.On Ann's death it claims her parents were a John McMaster and Mary Smith of course many variations of Smith. On my Great-grandma's death it states her mother's birthplace is Armagh,Ireland .There is a brother of GGrandma Lizzie Egan as she called herself who went into the civil war also living in Lee co,Il. The children of Ann Mcmaster were John,Eddie,Mary,Lizzie(my Great-grandma)Katie,Thomas. This family is also supposed to be connected with a textile mill in NY. Egan had connections in Pittsburgh,PA.PLEASE HELP!
