Two names on your post, "McMann and Jones," fit into my family tree. Hopefully, we can connect.

Benj F McMahon married Louisa Jones.

Benj fought in the Civil War. He enlisted in Indiana and drew a pention after the war. His pention was sent to Hesperia, Michigan. We think he might have went back to Indiana as there is no more mention found in Michigan.

He was listed as the father on my gr grandmother's marriage lisence as "Gustavus" McMahon. And as Benj McMahon on her death certificate. His name was also mentioned as Benj F McMahon on the Oceana Co.'s Pentioned Civil War Vet's.

Benj and Louisa's daughter, Ida McMann, was my great- grandmother. She was born in 1870 and married Henry Harison Eitniear in 1888. My mother remembers "grandma" Ida going to Indiana to visit family.

Thanks, Aldon Olson
