Thomas McMann, born July 23, 1822 Died March 30, 1906 Covington, New York. At one time Thopmas lived in Perry New York and had five sons named Samuel (born 1850), John (born 1854), James (born 1861, Robert (born 1863), and William (born 1866). Samuel and John both ended up in Alberta, Canada. The other 3 lived in or around Perry New York. There were also 2 daughters named Margaret (born 1852) and Sarah (born 1857). Sarah married a Patridge or Partridge.
I am his great-great grandson and I am putting together a family tree and trying to find information from Ireland. To do this I need to know where he came from. His father's name was David (probably born around 1790) and his mother's name was Jane. It's possible that the spelling got changed from McMahon to McMann when Thomas came to the US. We don't know if David and Jane came to the States. Any infomation that can be provided would be appreciated. I would be willing to share any info I have.
