There were sveral (many?) McMonegal families in Huntingdon County PA in the early 1800s. There was also a Donegal Church there. There were also MCmanigals in the Revolutionary Army from that area. How inter-related they were I have no idea, but very probably they were all from the same Donegal area. I have some more details if you think it would help.
