I don't know about your specific people, but McManaman's came to Ballycroy and Achill in the mid 1650's I think, along with O'Donnell. I've studied it as my family was in Achill, which is adjacent and closer than the policitcal lines would suggest. There are a number of good resources on Ballycroy, including "Where the Sun Sets." You might want to consult the church records too. Good luck!
