Thanks for the follow-up. Your Mary McManaman is of the same time frame as my farthest known ancestor, James McManaman, Sr. His first born child was in 1839. Thus, he was probably married in the 1830's, like your Mary. Question here is, could they have been sibblings or even cousins? He was from Achill Isl, and is believed to have died in a town called The Valley on Achill Island. Also, in tracing the James, Sr. line, one of his daughter's, Grace(my ggrandmother) married Patrick McManaman, aka "Red" Pat (as referenced in this forum). "Red" Pat's lineage is unknown. Here is another unknown McManaman family lineage.
Our McGinty's both share a common name of Kate McGinty. Yours, however, would have been in Indiana when mine would have been in Ireland.
The coincidences are really interesting though and I hope we can find a common bond.
Let's keep in touch and hopefully we can find more clues.
