You may know this by now, but the fellow you list as L.M. McMains was Luther Monroe MCMEANS b: 23 September 1876 in Indian Territory (OK)d. 20 April 1941 Santa Anna, Coleman Co., Texas Burial: Valero Cemetery. His parents were Jonathan E. McMeans and Alice Page.
Luther married: 10 February 1896 in Wilson Co., Texas, to Francis "Fannie" Elmira COTTER.
S.C McMains was his son Steven Curtis MCMEANS b: 24 March 1898 in Texas

Luther was on the 1900 Census in Wilson County,Texas (Series: T623 Roll: 1680 Page: 220), on the 1900 Census in Caldwell County,Texas (Series: T624 Roll: 1536 Page: 79), and back in Wilson Co. for the 1920 census.
On the 1900 census, his children properly listed their father's place of birth as Indian Territory. The children on the 1910 and 1920 census were his biological children even though their father's place of birth was mistakenly listed as "Texas".
Luther's father, brother and sister-in-law are buried in Wilson Co.
