ANNIE MCMAIL SCOTLAND 1874
Hello, I am researching the name McMail trying to collect as much information as I can for my husband's family tree. His Grandmother was an Annie McMail born in Ardrossan Ayrshire Scotland abt.1874 and died in Greenock Scotland in 1951. I have not been able to trace her birth but she is on the 1891 census also her sister Mary as living in Paisley Scotland. Their parents were Hugh McMail and Annie McCormack from Co. Down Ireland. She had brothers Dan bc.1880, Hugh bc.1882, Thomas bc.1887,also sisters Alice, Kate and Nellie all born in Ardrossan, other than this information we don't know where the family is or what happened to them. Also in Ardrossan around 1863 there was a William McMail married to an Alice McCormack. This looks like two brothers married two sisters. If there are any descentants out there from this family I would love to hear from them. Thanks Anne.
