Norma, It is so easy for all researchers to dismiss Andrew Ansley Mcmahon. He does not appear on his father's will, so he mustn't be a son, right? In fact he is buried near his father in the family cemetery. My father remembers visiting as a child the graves with his grandfather and father. the site is not lost, and we have known for years where it is. Dunklin Bowman, the previous landowner took me there in 2001 and verified the site. Now the land is owned by a Methodist church, and they have promised to take steps to preserve the graves. At that time we found one complete stone. Susannah Douglas, aged 43 died in 1816. I have no knowledge how she fits our picture. Since that time that stone has disappeared. the present landowners have graciously allowed me to make a search for lost graves, but too much damage was done by a lady who leased the farm.
