Simon McMahon and his wife and quite a few of his children are buried at the old St. Francis Xavier cemetery in Renfrew, Ontario. I was taken there once by a local but there is no tombstones, just that she knew they are there and the records also say that's where they were buried.
I would be very interested in contacting this person with respect to the McMahon's, especially the Simon McM's of Renfrew. Even though the family had 18 children, this is the first mention I have found of anyone else from this branch doing family tree research.
I have yet to find out where in Ireland Simon came from. I have been trying to find someone in Ireland to do some research for me, but have not had any luck yet.
