Thanks for the reply. I had found a lot of info on this family since I posted that message. But, I did not know that John Creech McLennan married first to a Fannie Jennings. Do you know anything about her family? And, do you know how he died since he was so young at about 39?

I have that Alex's father, Daniel, was born about 1780 nad that Margaret was born about 1784 (why can't this be correct?). That would have made her about 22 when she had Alex and about 27 when she had Judith.

Do you know if this family is related to the McLennans who started McLennan County in Texas?
