I am searching for info on a Zachariah J. McCLENDON/McLendon b. Apr. 1865 in AL who married (prob. as his 2nd wife) Blanche G.? b. Nov. 1877 age 27 b. Ark.
They had son George D. b. Apr. 1890 in Ark, son Lowe b. Nov. 1892 in Ark, daugh. Lela A. b. 1895, Mary E. b. 1897, and son Julian J. b. 1899 all in Arkansas.
I cannot find heads or tails of Zachariah which may be an incorrect spelling of his actual name but as the census of 1900 decided to write Numbers all over the Heads of Household's first names I cannot determine what the actual spelling of his name is...it starts out as Zach...and looks as though it ends in ...uck.
Perhaps his name was Zacheus?? J. McCLENDON?
I just can't tell...but I am trying to find information about this family.
I posted a message at the Arkansas page as well which contains more details of the families in Independence Co., AR that I am trying to locate.
