Sarah McLendon family, 1860 Pike Co. AL

We have traced our McLendon family back to the 1860 census of Pike Co. AL. Sarah McLendon was the head of the house and was age 45 (born abt. 1815 in SC). The children were boys, Briant- 19, Joseph-17, Harris-15, Martin-13, Augustus-11, John-9 all born AL. We have not been able to find them in 1850. Can anyone tell us more about this family and their ancestors. Many thanks
