John MacLennan

I went to the National Registry in Edinburgh last week looking for info on John MacLennan, father of Dennis, born abt 1625 in Contin, Grave, Scotland. The bad news is they don't have records from Contin until the 1700's, the good news is the town still exists. It is in the Highlands, right in the middle of "Clan MacLennan" land. I didn't have time to stop and try to find church records. I guess I will just have to make another trip! :] Go if you EVER get the chance !!!!
