I am researching the family of Reden/Redden/ Redding McLemore of Cumberland Co, NC. He would be my GGgrandfather. He is enumerated in the 1850,60,70 census of Cumberland Co. Documentation shows his name to be any of the above spellings, but family oral tradition says that he went by the name of Henry McLemore and was a veteran of the CSA. I am desperately trying to figure out which branch of McLemores he belongs with. I have information on his family I am willing to share that I believe has not been posted anywhere yet.
