The Mac Gillie Mhuire is highlander by name according to my research at the Universities of Edinburgh and Aberdeen. This name is claimed by the Clan Morrison. Though there is some debate that Morrison is more of Norman decent that Gaelic. The problem of the name could be settled if we only knew for certian of the place of origin for the family. For two years I have tried via internet but each time I run into a dead end. Thus the reason for this question. The mystery of being a McLemore.
Peace and joy,
Pastor E.
