David, Thank you so much for the info from Wilson McLemore's will and the list of his children. Do you know if his daughter, Susan, b 1831, was the one who married Thomas G Sessions, 06 Jun 1850, in Chambers Co., AL? Her birthdate matches the age of Susan on the 1850 census. Thomas and Susan are listed on the censuses for Chambers Co., AL in 1850 and 1860, in Elmore Co. in 1870, in Lee Co. in 1880. Then Thomas is listed as a widower living with a widowed daughter, Martha, on the Chambers Co. censuses for 1900 and 1910. But there is a strange listing on the census for Lee Co., in 1900. A "Sarah" 69, is listed as a widow there with three children [Sarah, Ellen & Early] who match three of theirs from the Lee Co. 1880 census. Through their son, John Early, Thomas and Susan Sessions were the great-grandparents of a very dear friend of mine. We would appreciate any information about Wilson McLemore's parents, siblings, etc., if he was Susan's father. Melba Notify Administrator about this message?
