Hi Melba,
I have had a copies of the extracts of Wilson McLemore's will for many years. I am a descendant of his son, Calvin McLemore.
Wilson was married twice, and had a total of 18 children from both marriages according to his will filed in Chambers County Alabama on Aug. 14, 1848.
Wilson married Nicy Hall on Sept. 18, 1814 in Jones County, Georgia. The children of Wilson McLemore & Nicy Hall listed in his will are:
Elizabeth, (b. abt. 1817)
Calvin J. (b. abt. 1819)
Cerena (b. abt. 1820)
James W. (b. abt. 1824)
Mary (b. abt. 1825)
Franklin Jones (b. abt. 1828)
William (b. abt. 1829)
Wilson (b. abt. 1830)
Wison's first wife Nicy Hall had died by 1830. He then married Rebecca Hughes on Dec. 8, 1830 in Newton Co. Georgia.
The children of Wilson McLemore & Rebecca Hughes are:
Susan (b. abt 1831)
Thomas (b. abt. 1832)
Martha Ann (b. abt. 1833)
Francis Missouri (b. 1835)
Josephine (b. 1839)
Julia Ann (b. 1841)
