Hello Bryan,
I am from the McLemores on my mother's side.
At a Scottish Fair in my home city, I was told that the McLemores come from the Stewart Clan, particularly Stewart of Appin. I had also heard from another source that we came out of the Campbell Clan.
Either way, you can find the Stewart of Appin (and I presume Campbell, as well)tartans on the internet. Any good search engine can find them for you. I have a tie with the Stewart of Appin hunting tartan.
