Susan,
We have a James McClelland, probably born about 1812, who married Mary Campbell Baillie, born in AYR, and quite sure their children were born in Ayrshire.
Not positive ID at this point, but pretty sure this is the right one. Daughter Mary married John O'Hara 1857 in AYR.
If this is a possible connection, I'm interested in info.
