Does anyone have any information on who his father was in Maine ?
As it may turn out ... Edgar may have been adopted into the family in Maine .
It looks like he was a stowaway out of Sherness England as a young lad .
His dob in England is 1825 died in 1873 as Captn of the Rio Grande.
He was a great ship cap and had a long career of 15yrs after mating and traveling all over the world.

His original name we believe is Biggs from Sherness ..
I am seeking his adopted Mc Clellan father from Maine .
Any news on this is most appreciated.

He married sarah abia lapham bibber in 1857 in Maine .
They had children all born Maine
Frank Mc Clellan
Elizabeth Lizzie Mc Clellan
Victoria Mc Clellan

Thank you ,
Tina Schraier
