Abner D. McLellan was a Deputy U. S. Marshal who was killed on 7-20-1894 near Caddo, Choctaw Nation in Indian Territory (Oklahoma).
His widow and two children moved to the Waurika/Claypool area of Indian Territory (Jefferson County).
I have information on his wife and children but would like to know more about their life in/near Caddo, OK. Was he a farmer, merchant, or what?
I have the newspaper article out of the Caddo Banner of 10-27-1894 that covered his death.
Would like to know more about the family while living in the area of Caddo.
