Hello, I was wondering if you knew any additional information on the James McLellan you mentioned in your posting.

I am trying to solve a KIDDER mystery, and am looking for a James McLellan from Nova Scotia .. who fathered a child. His son, James McLellan, was born in April 1892. He never married the mother of the baby, Ella KIDDER, who was 16 at the time of the birth ..

If James was also a teen-ager in 1891, then he would have been born between 1870 and 1875.

(Ella KIDDER was a daughter of Calvin and Miranda (McLaughlin) Kidder, mostly of Princeton, MAINE, and that is where the baby was born. ..... There were two McLellan families in Princeton, ME, during the 1880's and 1890's .. but I don't know anything about them.)
