Looking over my notes, I don't see how Nancy McElhaney could have posibly been the child of John and Elizabeth. I presume your BD given should have read 1807 instead of 1907,, but since John wasn't born until 1798, and Elizabeth around 1802, that rules out their being Nancy's parents. Perhaps your Nancy might have been a sister of John.
As for the second part of your response, it is quite possible that your Elizabeth Thames is the youngest daughter of Joseph. I don't have any info on her, other than an estimated BD from the census, which would certainly correspond to the BD you gave for her. If this is your line, I would certainly be interested in finding out more about her descendants. I can provide you with other info on the Thames or McElhaney line if you would like.
