A friend has purchased an antique desk that appears to be a Civil War Era, medical doctor desk. It has a plate engraved as follows: Forrest H McLean, Westville NJ. Also it is marked as Field Desk #1.
I am looking for any information as to who is Forrest H McLean. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
