Seeking maiden name of wife Jean and parents of Cornelius McLean (ca1718-1796),farmer of Southampton Twp,Cumberland Co ,Pa ,residing near Shippensburg as early as 1741. He and wife Jean (ca1722-ca1800) in one log home until their death.Children were: Andrew (1741=1831) m Margaret Bell(1748-1810); Daniel (born ca1748); John (1750-1814) m Mary (died 1823); Mary (1754-1836) m George Gordon (1755-1826); Allen (born ca1756); and Jean. I believe Cornelius`s father was an Andrew or John McLean who arrived Philadelphia from England ca 1730 . My E-Mail address is rmhk@hotmail.com
