Margaret McLean, McLennan's Mtn., Pictou Co., Nova Scotia

Margaret McLean of McLennan's Mtn maried Donald McDonald of East Branch, East River on 11 November 1834 according to records of Rev. John McRae at St Columba Church, Hopewell, NS. Baptism records for their children are as follows: Mary Fraser- 3 August 1835; Anne- 4 March 1857; Catherine- 14 April 1839; Alexander- 1 August 1841; and John- 7 October 1843. There may be more children after this date. I believe Margaret and Donald were also born in Nova Scotia, c.1811 and 1808 respectively. Who were their parents? When and how did they come to NS and from where? Did their children marry and if so who were their spouses? Did any of them stay in NS and have descendants there? Did some go west to Ontario and further? If anyone has any information on any of these family members or knows where I can find the answers to these questions I would be very grateful. If anyone is interested in the more recent history of Alexander and his family, I will share what I have.
