Lorrie, I've not got a proven connection to this couple, so I've not checked the actual entries in the OPRs. However, this is what I've found on the IGI, so you can go to ScotlandsPeople.gov.uk to download the images and, one would hope, get a little more information. Although they look as though this is all the same family, there is no shortage of McLeans in Kintyre at that time, so more work would be needed to check it out.

Duncan, b 1786 to Hector McLean and Margaret Sillar
Hugh, b 1788 to Hector McLean and Margaret Sillar
Ann, b 1790 to Hector McLean and Margaret McInarginack
Donald, 1791 to Hector McLean and McInargnick
Hugh, b 1793 to Hector McLean and Margaret Sillars
Margaret b 1801 Hector McLean and Margaret Sillars
(All batch C115192)

Judging by the gaps, there may be more unregistered children. You will probably want to look for marriage or death records of these children, and hope that some lived beyond 1855 and the start of statutory registration.

There is also a submitted entry to the IGI showing a marriage of Hector McLean and Margaret Sellar about 1786, but I'm not sure of the source of this.

Good luck!

Sarah
