According to "Abstract - Will of Archibald McLeran, Book C, page 230. Cumberland County, Fayetteville, N.C." Archibald gives and bequeath to the following: daughter, Mrs. Margaret Munroe; son, John; son, Thomas; son Daniel; granddaugter, Nancy; daughter, Mary; daughter, Agnes; daughter, Mrs. Isabella Jones; daughter Elizabeth; son, Robert. I am a descendant of John McLarran-McLaurin, son of Archibald. We have John (b 31 Oct 1804 N.C. d 17 Aug 1874 near Leaky, Texas ) married to Mary Eliza Melvin and children listed as: John Robert Melvin, William John, Mary Ann Elizabeth, Sarah Leonora, and Margaret Eliza.
