My primary interest in the Mclaurin family has to do with their connection to the Richmond County (including what is now Scotland County) to my Morrison family. There was a Lauchlin McLaurin in N.C. and in Mississippi in 1840. i taqke it these are different persons and the one from N.C. is the one who, with son, Angus, went to Hornsby Bend, Texas. Can you confirm. Also, be interested in any other Morrison info you may have. Several Johns lived at Laurel Hill. I am interested in how these connected to the Wolf Pit Morrisons.
