McLaurin's in MS (black family) (Exie, Lela, Harriett?) 1890-1930

My grandmother (on my fathers side) is an Ivory, but her Mother was Lela McLaurin, who had two sisters, one named Harriett but I am not sure of the other sisters name. I called a few people in Magee, MS and just as my grandmother told me, I found McLaurin's there. I spoke to someone who is probably a distant cousin, and he told me that he knows of a Exie McLaurin who I believe is his great aunt, and I think she may be related to Lela and Harriett McLaurin somehow. Exie had (probably more, but atleast) one son named Arthur McLaurin Sr. (his brothers and sisters are Luis, R.L, Judy, Mary Joyce, and Carolyn McLaurin)
Does anyone reconixe any of those names? Lela, Harriett, Exie?? I have also been told that this family had some Cherokee Indian connections, but that can't be confirmed of denied at the moment as I am just starting to examine things in detail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
