George A quick of my records showed that my John D
McLaurin was not the one you are interested
in. He came to MS in 1819, settled in Perry
County & died there in 1824.
In all the records that I have ever seen yours
is called Daniel or Hurricane Daniel.There is
quite a lot of confusion about this Daniel-
even about his wife or wives.I would be glad
to send you a copy of my notes on Hurricane
Daniel.
