My GGgrandfather was John McLaurin--born Scotland 1784--died DeKalb MS 1856 Married Margaret Harper. Their children Duncan, John Jr, Margaret, & Hugh Daniel were born in NC. Duncan and John who was my Ggrandfather and married Sarah Comfort Rivers died in Kemper County Mississippi..
The children of John and Sarah--Granville, Margaret--My grandmother,Hugh Daniel, Jennie, & Ezekial Slocum or Slocumb were born and died in Kemper county MS. If this coincides with other families, Please email me at 2jcasey@bellsouth.net
