im trying to trace back my roots as far as possible. The farthest back we've gotten is Daniel McLaurin born about 1619 in Scotland, all we know was that he was a minister and that he married a Stewart. We've also found a Duncan McLaurin, born in 1724 in Marlboro Co., SC, hes burried in the Stewartsville Cemetary. He came to the US in 1788 and lived in Hamlet, Richmond Country, NC. If you have an info. about either of these guys, it would be much appreciated. Thanks.
