Fred D. McLaughlin
Fred D. McLaughlin of Prospect Heights Visitation for Fred D. McLaughlin will be from 9 a.m. until the time of prayers at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 11, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (four blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights, proceeding to St. Alphonsus Church, 411 N. Wheeling Road, Prospect Heights, for a Mass at 11 a.m. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery. Born Dec. 5, 1919, in Sturgeon Bay, Wis., to Gilbert and Frances (nee Weber) McLaughlin, he passed away Thursday, Feb. 7, 2008, at his home in Prospect Heights. He is survived by his wife of 48 years,\Marjorie (nee Poole), whom he married on Sept. 12, 1959; his children, Janet Kuhn, Joan (Thomas) Rembacz and Karen (Richard) Stout; and his grandchildren, Nicole, Jennifer, Kimberly, Kristen, Sarah and Leigh. He was preceded in death by his parents; his eight siblings; and his daughter, Kathie McLaughlin. If desired, memorials may be made to the Heinz Endowment Fund, c/o St. Alphonsus Church, 411 N.
