Charlie McLarty died 90 years ago or so and was buried in Oaklawn Cemetery in Cooper, Texas (half waw between Dallas and Texarkana). He married my grandmother's sister, and her name was Della McLarty ("Aint Deller"). After Charlie McLarty died, Aint Deller moved into town and lived the last of her life in a little house just behind the Post Office. Aint Deller McLarty was was one of four sisters who came to Texas around 1900. Aint Deller had the following children: Clyde McLarty; William Earl (Red) McLarty, and two or three others I can't recall. I cant find any other McLartys in our phone books. The only McLarty left of our kin lives in the Dallas area. His name is C.H. McLarty. I hope to go see him in the next couple of weeks. Would like to hear from any other McLarty's in the NE Texas area.
