He was born in 1842 and married Catherine McMartin. I think they had a son James who was born in 1875 and died in Canada (Ottawa, Ontario) in 1892. They are buried in Beechwood Cemetery, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. I am going to Islay in September of 2006 and hopefully will find out more about "my roots". Notify Administrator about this message?
