I am searching for any information on the descendants of the Rev.Colin MACLAVERTY (formerly M'Larty),{ Clerk in Holy Orders, M.A. St.Andrews, Scotland } Rector of St.Peter's, Clifton, Jamaica [b.7 Feb 1818 in Edinburgh, Scotland : d.15 Aug 1859 at the Parsonage,Clifton and buried at St.Andrews] and Mary Elizabeth EAST,[b.21 Apr 1825] daughter of Hinton East of Raymond Hall, Jamaica .
I believe that they had 'several' children, but as yet only have details of one son, Herbert Hinton East Maclaverty [b.27 May 1851 & baptised at St.Peter's Clifton,Jamaica.
