Great to hear from you - where do you live ? I'm in Glasgow. No, I've not done much research on the McLarty family other than Ann. Ann was my ggggrandmother. She married Joseph Brown who was at least 20 years older than her. They lived in Lochgilphead . Their daughter Mary married Neil Gillies in 1869, but Neil died the same year. Neil & Mary's son, Donald Gillies was brought up largely by Joseph and Ann. When Joseph died Ann (and Mary & Donald) moved to Rothesay on the Isle of Bute.
