My grandmother, Nettie Belle McLarty was born in Monroe Center, Illinois March 9, 1892. She had three sisters; Ada, Dora and Elsie. Their father was John McLarty, born about 1858, and died May 2nd, 1932 in Monroe Center. Their mother was Hannah Castle also born about 1858. John's father was Edward McLarty, born Sept 26, 1814 in Argyllshire, Scotland. Edward had another son, Walter, born Jan 16, 1852. This is where I dead end. I am looking for information on Edward and his ancestry. Thank you in advance.
