My name is Karen McLarnon. I live in Bellaghy in County Derry in Northern Ireland. My grandfather was HughmcLarnon who never left Ireland - he was born in Toome in Co Antrim and later resided in Castledawson. His father was Patrick McLarnon who was married twice , the second wife being Ellen O'neill. He had a brother Frank McLarnon who travelled extensivley in America and Australia. There is a large connection of us based in Mid Ulster and South Derry and there is alot of different spellings within our family - malarnon/malernon. My father had eleven siblings and there are over 50 grandchildren. Hope this information can be of help to anyone tracing their roots!!!
