My Grandfathers name was Francis McLarney he was born in NYCity , and lived on he east side also, he worked for the city also , his office was located in the municiple buliding in Manhattan, His job now would be called commisioner... I do not know much about his family except had a brother Maurice..who owned a lot of property on the east side...his mothers name was Mary Crosby and his fathers name was John....found awhole bunch of McLarney's living in England wrote to them but got no answer, have run into stone walls trying to find whre they cam from , I do know they have been in theUSA, a long me some fougt ithe Civil war, think I located ,one of my grandfathers in the civil war....any informatio yo have would be apreciated, there were other bothers don't know the names , could be another brother
