DO YOU KNOW THIS WOMEN?????

My family history tells me that she is my Grandmother Helena Maria Caldwell. She was born in October 1876 in Dundalk, County Louth Ireland. She died on the 4th February 1909 in Sydney Australia. Her Mother’s name was Mary Thomson and I have no other information about her family other then that. She was married to David Caldwell in Philadelphia USA on 16th August 1898. They had 5 children. One male deceased at birth. 2 son’s David (he was my Father) and Joseph and 2 daughters Helena Maria and Kathleen Ophert. I have been searching for Helena's family for many years. it seems that there was some shame attached to her and she was turned out by her family I have been told that she changed her name and her religion to obtain funds from an Aunty so she could return to England from USA in the late 1800's. Her maiden name is my main stumbling block as I have 2 different names. One is McLaren from Dundalk, County Louth Ireland (these details are on her marraige cert) and the other family name I have is Hamilton which i have no proof of just family stories. I have searched using both surnames but continue to come up empty...i hope someone can help me in my search for helena's family...kind regards Fay.henderson@bigpond.com
