Looking for ancestral leads for two siblings.
Margaret McLaren (Robert Kennedy) born 1762, Dunblane.
John McLaren born 1772, Perthshire.
Siblings emigrated to US, probably in company of other siblings and/or parents, between 1772-1788. Father or a brother may have been James.
Margaret & John lived in Johnstown, Montgomery Cty, NY before moving with their respective families to Monroe Cty, NY about 1803.
Margaret's known children were: Margaret, Christina, Jane, William C., John, James Warren.
John's known children were: John, Anna, James, Margaret, Christine, Catharine, James, Daniel, Alexander, William.
Would be pleased to have any information on either family, other siblings, and the Scottish ancestry.
