Hi,
I'll bet you they are relatives. MY Great Grandpa James, the twin, lived in TX as did many other of the relatives.

Please send anything else you have on them. Another reason I think they are related is James wife Sarah was a Fannin. Her family line has the name Averilla. James daughter was named Rilla for her.Sarah's Grandmother was Averilla Bristow Fannin.
