Rick, I found a death certificate for Roy Hansford McLane, parents listed as Isom B. McLane and Birdie Moore Stalnaker.. I also found one for Isom, father listed as Malon McLane, Malon without the H. Mother's name for Isom unknown.. Roy, Isom and Birdie all died in Kanawha County.. Still searching for a birth or death certificate for Malon and Isom both.. This may be a link, your Isom could be my Isom's uncle. I am going to definitely pursue this further. Isom and Birdie are buried in the Guthrie Cemetery, Roy is in the Thaxton Cemetery off of Call Road on Tupper's Creek, mom said she thought it was the Holmes Cemetery, but that was before they removed bodies out to Pocatalico and put in the highway. I was tickled to find this info.. Found it at this site: www.wvculture.org It still lacks a lot of info, but they are adding more everyday..
