I haven't come across the name Samuel yet. But I ordered the book

"Title Maclean family of Allegheny and Westmoreland
Counties, Pennsylvania, ca. 1783-1898 "
Authors Rubincam, Milton , 1909- (Main Author)

from the Family History Center and will check once I receive it. I hope it deals with all the variations of spelling: Mcclain, Mclane, Maclean, etc.

Mary
