hi Michael, The spelling of MacLane caught my eye because it's the first I've seen this spelling on this message board. My biological grandfather was named Edward Harold MacLane and he was born in Canada @ 1899-1900. I believe he served in the military. He married my grandmother (Mary Elizabeth Parkinson) in Canada @1919 and they later moved to the Providence, RI area. My gramma wouldn't talk about Edward. They were divorced after he commited adultery. Because of this I'm having a heck of a time doing research. I know this might be a long shot, but it might be worth it. Thanks
