I too am searching for the parents of Green McLane. Green had five children by Emeline Dusenberry. I got the names from John Dusenberry's will. They are Susan, Martha M., Virginia J., John D. and Laura E. Laura was the last to be born. Emeline died giving birth on April 26, 1849. That is the birth date of Laura and the death date of Emeline(on tombstone). He remarried Elizabeth J. Odom in Madison Co. Ala December 13, 1849. I do not know his other children. I do know that Green died in Pickens Co. Ala onFebruary 12, 1879. I do not know if he had anymore children. I bet he did. I have a little information on the children of Emeline and know where she is buried. I would like to share any information I have with anyone. Donna
