Daniel McLane (II) and 2nd wife Rebecca Kisling McLane came to Cantril, Van Buren County, Ia. c 1897 from Memphis, Scotland County, Mo. with their children Alva Randolph McLane b. Oct 16, 1874, his twin sister Blanche Olive McLane (later Mrs Ledru Yeager), Harvey McLane (married to Myrtle Foster), and Martha (Mattie) McLane (later Mrs C.L. Norris). ALva Randolph McLane married Eva Wynn, their children were Blanche Helen McLane and Verne Wynn McLane. Daniel died in 1917 in Cantril, Iowa.There were also several half brothers and sisters: Anzina Minerva McLane (later Mrs Hilliard Stone), Charles Lourie McLane (b. Apr 2, 1862, Founder of Fresno State College, Fresno, Ca.), Florance E (b. Jun 5, 1864, died in infancy), William B. McLane ( b. Jul 26, res. 1866 Memphis, Scotland County, Mo.) Many of these McLanes ended up in Benton County, Wa.
